Feed 64 presented Gennady's game at Igroprom 2023

On October 7 and 8, the Game Industry Festival took place in Moscow. Game studio Feed 64, which drives in Meik, presented hardcore platformer Gennady.
VDNKH, the country's largest exhibition site, brought together hundreds of guests and more than 50 stands with projects.
Andrey Titaev, Alexander Morozov and Denis Zorin presented the Gennady project. You can read more about it here.

In addition to the information stand, all guests could test the game. All the guests whose eyes were on our stand came up, asked questions and played.
Gennady is a hardcore 2D platformer with rogue-lite elements. The essence is that the world is generated automatically, it is not prescribed in advance. The design style is space noir - in the style of works by artist Rudi Giger, who was the author of the character "Xenomorph" from the first part of the film "Alien". The plot of the games is very simple: the protagonist was sitting at home when the aliens attacked and went to defend the planet in his underwear.
10 out of 50 projects went to pitch. Ours was among them. We presented the game to investors, the jury, guests of the exhibition and publishers, and talked about the project's development plans.
After Igroprom we received a response: localisers, media representatives and bloggers contacted us. The number of subscribers in social networks increased, waiting lists appeared in Steam.

Most of the festival participants appreciated the visual style of the game. And those who played the game couldn't tear themselves away.
